How about a fun vowel game to kick off the Christmas season? Students can use bingo daubers to find the vowels on Santa and daub them.
Take the journey with me as I have finally graduated Kindergarten! (Took me 11 years) :)

Basic alphabet knowledge
I don't know about you, but I continue to have just a handful of students that struggle with alphabet knowledge. We have been using the STAR assessment and they are low in areas like alphabet sequence, visual discrimination, and letter names and sounds. Well, I've spent my Thanksgiving break making some fun Christmas themed activities that focus specifically on these skills.

Want a FUN and EASY way to build up your classroom library collection? I've created a Christmas countdown project in which our class opens up a wrapped children's book each day in the month of December until Christmas. The students love it and I love getting more books for my classroom!

Sight Word Watches
So right now my students' favorite word work tub is the sight word watches. They love them! They color and cut them out and I tape them on for them and occasionally ask them what time it is. They will reply "play" time or "go" time or whatever word they are wearing. Get yours today!
