This last week was Red Ribbon Week, which is a national drug-free campaign. We always have a door decorating contest. My co-worker and I have doors very close together and decided to make our one huge project. (and that it was!) I love how this pirate ship turned out, but it was really a lot of work. BTW......we did win.
Take the journey with me as I have finally graduated Kindergarten! (Took me 11 years) :)

October Bulletin Board
Our Kindergarten team takes turns decorating the bulletin board in our pod and guess whose turn it was for October? You guessed it! I should mention that in lieu of a Halloween parade and party at school, we have a HUGE fall festival family night a few days before Halloween. Each grade level (or pod) is in charge of creating a theme and activities. Well, we did spiders last year and really enjoyed it, so spiders it is again! I wanted the bulletin board to have something about spiders on it, so I went back to an oldie, but a goodie. All kids LOVE to marble paint! We painted spider webs for the background and then I printed the cute spiders that I got FREE from my favorite clip artist on TPT, Educlips. (Get yours free HERE) I added their cute little faces to personalize them and then printed some of our books that we've read this year. The kids really enjoyed seeing themselves as spiders! Here's some pics of them painting and the finished board.
