Scrunchy Border

So I really like how this border technique turned out! It was super easy to do. I cut strips of that colored butcher paper we all have down in the workroom into about 3 1/2 inch strips. (cut several strips together to save you time). Then I accordion folded the strips back and forth. (once again several strips together to save time). Next, you simply wad it up into balls (not crazy tight) and then open some to begin just stapling it on your board randomly, giving it some fullness.

Lesson Plans

Lesson plans done for the week. I just love using Planbook.com. It is really easy to use and I just learned that I can collaborate with my co-teacher and share lessons on it! Another cool feature is that it has the option of adding common core standards to your lesson....just click on the ones you want! Anyway, I love it and it's only $12/year!!

File Cabinet Make-over

Boring old file cabinet receives some much needed sprucing up! Some scrapbook paper and Mod Podge is all you need and no damage at all to the file cabinet. It peels right off if you need it to.

Write the Room

Do you guys do many "Write the Room" activities in your classroom? My class just loves them and once they've learned how to do it, I can easily change out the theme and they think it's a whole new game. (with little preparation on my part!)
